Mosel MOODS

Our cosy Moselhaus is located in the centre of Zeltingen-Rachtig, directly on the Moselle and Moselle cycle path. Restaurants, cafés and the ferry dock are in the direct vicinity.

The double village of Zeltingen-Rachtig with its almost 2200 inhabitants is embedded in the beautiful Moselle landscape and close to the historic Moselle towns of Bernkastel-Kues and Traben-Trarbach with their many sights and castles.

Zeltingen is home to beautiful, historic wine farms, old half-timbered houses, especially on the market square, and a large number of high-quality winegrowers, wine taverns, wine bars, cafés and restaurants. Zeltingen is short distances away; everything in the town is within easy reach, whether it's the Moselsteig trail, the Mosel cycle path, Mosel boats or various leisure activities on the banks of the Mosel.

Other highlights include the Machern Monastery on the opposite bank of the Moselle, the 160-metre-high bridge of the Hochmosel crossing, the garden of varieties, the lock and the sundials in Zeltingen and Wehlen. In addition, there are numerous walking and hiking trails in the village as well as a direct bicycle station to Daun, the start of the Maare-Mosel cycle path. The vineyards with their great views are only a few metres away. Excursions to highlights in the Hunsrück and Eifel are possible due to the short distances.
