Virtual offers – Digital museum visits and more
You can enjoy museum visits, wine tastings and music events in the Romantic Cities from the comfort of your own home. Our overview gives you information on upcoming events.
The "Eifelhaus" built in oak half-timbering in 1603, forms a unique, historical ensemble in the center of Blankenheim with the neighboring "Hirtenturm" (built in 1404) and the associated battlement. Here you can experience the natural and sustainable building and living quality of our ancestors and at the same time enjoy the comfort that we are used to today.
On the ground floor you come from the historic entrance area with the old fireplace to the spacious and modern kitchen with gas stove. In addition to the central heating, this can also be comfortably heated with a wood stove.
On the first floor there is the "Schreibzimmer" with a French bed and the "Burgzimmer" with two single beds, both furnished in a historical style. The shower and toilet are separated from each other and, like the reading corner, are shared by both rooms.
The "Himmelzimmer" in the converted attic is equipped with a French bed, reading corner, bathroom and separate toilet.
There is no TV in the house, but very fast WiFi.
The rooms can be booked individually, the kitchen is shared. The entire house can also be booked on request.
