During the secularization process under Napoleon's reign, all church property were confiscated by the state. The "Domhof", including the main building, the wine press and the vineyards, was auctioned in 1805 for 222 thaler. Later on, the building was owned by the Counts of Kesselstatt. Their coat of arms decorates the front side of the building.
