Trier State Exhibition 2022 ‘THE FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE’

Catholic Church of St. Simon and Judas Taddeus

The stately neo-Gothic sandstone ashlar hall was built in 1874-76 by the architect Max von Siebert from Speyer, using plans by Tanera and Geyer. The Catholic church is one of the most important neo-Gothic churches in the Palatinate and is one of Weidenthal's cultural monuments.
