Spiel um die Macht - von Canosssa nach Worms

Worms · Rheinhessen

"Game for power - from Canossa to Worms"

Special exhibition on the occasion of the anniversary "900 Years of the Concordat of Worms".
The special exhibition in the Museum Andreasstift illuminates the history of the Investiture Controversy in a modern and playful way. In the first part, the exhibition conveys the background to the Investiture Controversy, the journey to Canossa and the resolution of the conflict by the Worms Concordat in the form of a graphic novel in the style of 'Bansky'. An 'Escape Game', which can be played with your own cell phone, is integrated into the exhibition. The second part of the exhibition deepens the content level through classical exhibits, so that an interesting access to the topic is also offered for other target groups. A museum educational accompanying program rounds off the special exhibition.

Opening hours: Tue-Sun, except 24 and 25 Dec, Mondays closed except: 3.10. / 26.12., holiday 1.11.
