Hahn airport is the most centrally located one. Bus services connect the airport´s central bus depot with the Romantic Cities. Passengers travelling to Speyer or Worms need to take the bus shuttle from the airport to Mainz central train station (Hbf). From there, please take the train connections of Deutsche Bahn. The train journey along the Rhine is one of the most scenic train connections in Germany!
How about a river cruise on the Rhine from Koblenz to Speyer? The part between Koblenz and Bingen is breathtakingly beautiful and has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site. It has the highest density of castles in Europe.

The German long distance bus operator "Flixbus" is expanding in Europe. There are more and more routes also to the Romantic Cities via Cologne, Frankfurt or Stuttgart.
