We walk steadily uphill towards the highest point of the Palatinate Forest, the 673 m high Kalmit. We enjoy the fresh, unpolluted air, the cheerful chirping of the birds and the atmosphere of the Palatinate Forest. As a reward, a beautiful sunrise awaits us with an incomparable distant view. We welcome the day with a glass of sparkling wine on the tower of the Kalmit, which is open exclusively for us.
