Festively Illuminated Christmas Town

Enjoy a relaxing stroll through the cozy alleys of the picturesque old town and allow yourself to be enchanted by the sea of ambient lights, Christmas stars and garland. The atmosphere of the festively decorated streets and squares with countless decorated trees immediately puts you in the holiday spirit.

The beautiful Koblenz city hall offers two attractions during the season of advent: The first is a charming manger in the illuminated inner square, a symbol of the Christmas story. The second is the advent calendar created out of the romantic dormer windows in the roof of the former Jesuit College. A new window opens every day.

Christmas Garden

With the dawn begins a magical journey through the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress! From November 17, 2022 to January 8, 2023, the Christmas Garden comes back to Koblenz. Experience the monumental architecture of Ehrenbreitstein Fortress with over 30 new light installations, altered designs and individually composed soundscapes.
