Cochem' Castle Christmas

The first Advent weekend in the Reichsburg Cochem is themed Charles Dickens and Advent and Christmas traditions . Experience as a station theater Charles Dickens "A Christmas Story" presented by the staff of the Reichsburg Cochem and the theater club from Kaisersesch. As an alternative to the Christmas story, experience the origins of our present pre-Christmas season in the guided tour "Advent Customs". At the small market in the castle's rose courtyard, there are nibbles and warm drinks that invite you to linger. The Christmas story is performed every hour and lasts about 45 minutes. Tours of the origins of today's Christmas traditions start every 15 minutes and last about 30 minutes. We recommend the tour "Charles Dickens - A Christmas Story" for children ages 6 and up. Please note that if you would still like to participate in this tour with children under 6 years of age, they will also need a ticket for children (up to 17 years of age).
